Our Story

PLNM (plat-nuhm) is an African American designer lifestyle brand specializing in curating the ultimate luxury loungewear, home/travel essentials, and skincare experience. 

The vision was formed by Rachal Smith in 2019 and founded in 2020 in the midst of the pandemic. We started as unsatisfied customers that desired to bridge the gap between quality products and the client experience. 

At PLNM, we believe that luxury is not just about the price tag, but more so about the quality, exclusivity, and attention to detail that go into each and every product and service that we offer. With a team of experts in fashion, beauty, travel, and lifestyle, we have carefully curated a collection of the most luxurious and multifunctional products to reflect the refined tastes of our clients. We are dedicated to providing an exceptional customer experience for those who demand nothing less than the best. 

In 2021 we expanded to PlnmSkin managed by Spirit Smith, Licensed Esthetician, Master Barber and Educator. Since then her collections have been our best seller specifically the Frequency Room & Body Spray. Just one year later in 2022, PlnmSkin opened its first location in the Higher Level Plaza on Historic Franklin St in Clarksville Tn.

From exquisite jewelry to bespoke clothing, our products are designed to stand out from the crowd and reflect your unique style. Currently we are an ecommerce based brand, however we look forward to expanding into hotels, airports, and major retailer placements like Saks 5th.
